Frame Work
Chief Automotive Systems®, Inc. has been the market leader in collision repair equipment for more than 30 years, ever since the introduction of the EZ Liner® pulling system. With the introduction of the Genesis® Computerized Measuring System in 1990, Chief became the first company to market an innovative computerized method of measuring a vehicles structure. This system was greatly enhanced when switching it to a Windows-based program a few years later.
Throughout its history, Chief has improved its market presence through the innovation of new products, the improvement of existing products, the co-development of products with other companies, and the acquisition of specialty products from other sources.
Most recently, Chief has developed the "heavy-duty" Excelerator® Pulling System and the "adjustable" Streamliner® work platform. It has also enhanced its Genesis "Velocity" Measuring System; refined its F.A.S.T. (frame rail) Anchoring System; expanded its vehicle specification data base for CD distribution; and, co-developed a computerized wheel alignment system. Chief has also acquired the Intairco Company based in Paris, France. This company builds and distributes dust extraction and recycling equipment and other related body shop products.
Through its nationwide direct sales, nationwide service, and certified training force, Chief provides customers a complete package, one that includes superior products, profit analysis data, multiple purchasing options, customized in-shop training, and prompt service assistance.
